Cuby & The Blizzards is relatief onbekend in de Engels-sprekende markt maar niettemin is de band erg bekend in Nederland sinds midden jaren '60. Het vroegere werk van de band was meer punk/beat gericht maar al snel gingen ze over naar de blues groove. Voordat de band, met Harry Muskee, Eelco Gelling, Nico Schröder, Hans Kinds en Wim Kinds, hun eigen werk uitbracht hebben ze nog een korte periode als achtergrond band van Van Morrison gespeeld toen deze uit Them was gestapt en een solo carrière begon. 'Groeten Uit Grollo' is het tweede album van de band en het is opgenomen met de legendarische artiest Herman Brood op toetsen als vervanger voor Hans Kinds die verplicht in militaire dienst moest.
