Ter ere van het 20 jarig jubileum van The Division Bell verschijnt een box-set van dit oorspronkelijk in 1994 verschenen Pink Floyd album. The Division Bell is het laatst verschenen studioalbum van Pink Floyd en ging wereldwijd ruim 12 miljoen keer over de toonbank.
The Division Bell werd in 1993 opgenomen in de Astoria en Brittania Row Studio’s en werd hoofdzakelijk geschreven door Polly Samson en David Gilmour. Het was het tweede album dat verscheen zonder dat Roger Waters erop meespeelde. David Gilmour zei destijds over het album: “The three of us went into Britannia Row studios, and improvised for two weeks. Playing together and starting from scratch was interesting and exciting, it kick started the album and the process was very good, it was collaborative and felt more cohesive.”
De box-set bevat een opnieuw gemasterde dubbel LP versie van het album, een rode 7” replica van Take It Back, een doorzichtige 7” replica van High Hopes, een 12” blauwe replica van High Hopes met een terugdraaiende ets, vijf collectors prints, een BluRay waarop een nieuwe 2014 video van de Grammy winnende song Marooned staat, en een nog niet eerder uitgebrachte 5.1 surround sound mix van The Division Bell.
